WHY Tala?
Tala is a nod to my Persian heritage as it means gold in Farsi.
Gold jewelry is not only a personal style choice, but it also holds a significant role in Persian culture. It is gifted to brides on their wedding day and to babies at birth.
Gold jewelry has been present at every major milestone in my life, so it is only fitting for it to play an important role in this new chapter - starting my own business.
MY LOVE LANGUAGE IS community
After over a decade of working in the fashion industry (and with an enormous amount of support and encouragement from family and friends), I launched my own brand.
Tala is a reflection of my fashion taste, my creativity (some pieces will be handmade with love!), and my inspiration living in NYC as well as traveling.
While putting together outfits and styling accessories lights my fire, my true love language is community.
